1.1 desksnortheast.co.uk ("the site") is run by Desks North East, a trading name of Dove Design Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company no. 14814259, registered office 6 Atkinson Grove, Shotton Colliery, Durham DH6 2YA. Email: hello@desksnortheast.co.uk. No VAT charged: Dove Design Ltd is not VAT registered.

1.2 By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2.1 Desks North East is a free, independent directory of coworking spaces, serviced offices, meeting rooms and business centres in North East England. We're not affiliated with any operator listed, and a listing isn't an endorsement.

2.2 We don't take bookings, handle enquiries or act for anyone. When you contact a space, you deal with the operator directly, and any agreement you make is between you and them. We're not party to it and aren't responsible for the space, its services or its prices.

2.3 We don't visit or inspect the spaces we list.

3.1 Listings are based on information the operator publishes on its own website, or gives us, and show the date we last checked them. Prices are shown only as "From £X/day (as published by the operator)", including any VAT wording the operator publishes (for example "+ VAT"), or as "Price on request".

3.2 Details change and we can't guarantee that every listing is accurate, complete or up to date. Always confirm prices, availability, opening hours, accessibility and anything else that matters to you with the operator before you book or travel.

3.3 If you spot a mistake, please use "Report an error" on the listing or email hello@desksnortheast.co.uk.

3.4 Nothing on the site is advice of any kind.

Some placements are paid for by operators. They're always labelled "Featured · Ad" or "Ad · Area sponsor", and they never change the order of the normal results. See How paid placement works.

5.1 You may use the site for your own personal or business purposes: searching, reading listings and contacting spaces.

5.2 You must not:

• copy, scrape, harvest or extract the listings or any substantial part of the site's content, whether by hand or by automated means, or use it to build another directory or database;
• use the site in a way that is unlawful, harms the site or other users, or interferes with its operation or security (for example by introducing malware or overloading it);
• try to get unauthorised access to the site or the systems it runs on;
• send us content that is false, misleading, defamatory or infringes anyone's rights.

5.3 We may suspend or restrict access to the site, or any part of it, at any time, for example for maintenance.

6.1 The site's design, text written by us, the compiled directory and the Desks North East name and logo belong to Dove Design Ltd or its licensors. Business names, logos and photos of listed spaces belong to their owners and are shown with their permission where they were supplied by the operator.

6.2 You may link to any page of the site, as long as you do it fairly and don't suggest any connection with or endorsement by us that doesn't exist.

Listings link to operators' own websites and map or phone services. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, availability or how they use your data.

8.1 The site is provided free of charge. We do our best to keep it available and accurate, but we don't promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.

8.2 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that can't be limited or excluded by law.

8.3 If you use the site as a consumer: we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We're not responsible for loss or damage that isn't foreseeable, and we only provide the site for domestic and private use; we're not liable for any loss of profit, business or business opportunity. Your statutory rights aren't affected.

8.4 If you use the site for business: to the extent the law allows, we exclude all implied conditions and warranties, and we're not liable for any loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or reliance on its content.

8.5 Because we're not party to any arrangement between you and an operator, we're not responsible for anything an operator does or fails to do.

Our Privacy notice explains what personal data we use and why. The directory pages don't set cookies that need your consent.

We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows when they last changed. Please check them when you use the site.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers living in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also bring proceedings in their local courts. Otherwise, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
